Lapses is a series of photography based works that explore the physical act of weaving printed photographs together. This meticulous weaving of many different photos combines the change of light, subject matter, and composition into a singular photograph, emulating a video timelapse.

Sami-matte paper weave

Lapses 1 is a combination of 60 photos all taken 1 minute apart, during the hour of 6:11pm-7:11pm. 60 photos are then printed on two 44x64 inch semi matte prints (30 photos on one print and 30 on the other). Cutting one print into vertical strips and the other into horizontal strips, I then weave the two prints together to create one image.
