Harry Ritter West is a 24 year old photographer/videographer and visual artist based out of the Pacific Northwest. West graduated the University of Victoria in 2026, completing a Bachelors in Fine Arts and playing for the University soccer team.

His love for photography and videography began as a teenager, and quickly progressed into a artistic practice. Combining photography with other mediums like sculpture and paint, his art holds themes in cubism, escapism, melancholy, mystery, story telling, time, and light. His work encourages the viewer to re-examine their perception of reality and how light can change one’s understanding of a subject over time. These themes are communicated through photographic techniques such as long exposures or high-contrast nightscapes. He aims to create works that resonate with emotions experienced in the environments he captures.
